I hope you enjoy this season’s programs. I worked on each one of them as a path to understanding myself, people, and our precious planet. People and our planet are suffering greatly because our laws, leaders, and systems are not up to the challenge of creating a world
that is sustainable, peaceful, and just. Our leaders and the economic and political systems are wrecking society and nature. We need wiser minds and kinder hearts to create Wisocracy. You can see our programs below and on our events page. I hope you enjoy reading about them and can join our discussion. ~ Sandy Hinden
Each Wednesday, 8 pm, ET
It is a very difficult world,
filled with stress causing people to use things,
processes, and substances to relieve their pain.
The Wednesday Wisdom Circle is here to help us
gain peace, wisdom, and wellbeing, and move forward.
1st Thursday, 12 pm, ET
Foolish humans are destroying humanity and Earth. They often become obsessed with sex, beauty, money, power, weapons, status symbols, travel, food, entertainment, cars, sports, alcohol, drugs, shopping, and social media. We need to help humans evolve rapidly to save humanity and Earth. This program meets to help people evolve in consciousness, character, creativity, communication, and collaboration to help people have meaningful, satisfying lives.
2nd Sunday, 12 pm, ET
We need a way to improve the world,
but we don’t have it.
Governments are failing
to find solutions to so many problems.
The UN is failing.
Wisocracy has gathered
10 ways to improve democracy.
Let’s create a
Wise Government Coalition to seek solutions.
Join us and tell your friends and colleagues.
3rd Sunday, 12 pm, ET
We need a new economic system to sustain Earth. To help Earth and humanity, we are seeking 12 student volunteers for a web-based Whole Earth Economics project. This meeting will explore Whole Earth Economics, including Doughnut Economics, Wellbeing Economy, and other developments in the field needed to save humanity and the rest of nature. You can invite colleagues, friends, and students to join our
Whole Earth Economics meeting.
4th Thursday, 12 pm, ET
The AI for Earth Network is a monthly program to help people understand the power of AI to help Earth and humanity. Humanity needs to improve its education, political, economic, and environmental systems. Humanity needs rapid solutions to crime, corruption, climate change, and war. To begin, we meet monthly on the first Thursday at 12 PM ET. We will seek to expand our meeting schedule to accommodate all time zones on Earth.
The world needs a
Wealth Gap to Violence Index
to look at the relationship between income
inequality and national-social violence.
You can read more about what we have gathered so far on wealth gap to violence.
The world needs a
Wise Leadership Index
to assess psychological fitness for duty of leaders locally, nationally, and internationally.
The International Fitness for Duty Committee
is working on this goal.
We need policies and regulations
that incentivize the use of renewable energy,
as well as public education and awareness campaigns
that promote sustainable practices.
Environmental catastrophes are occurring each day
National leaders ignore them
Business leaders ignore them
They keep funding fossil fuels
This is the Foolish Leader Phenomenon
that will lead to human extinction on Earth...
All humans will suffer because they do not
respect nature enough to stop using fossil fuels...
We have unprecedented world
fires, smoke, heat, rain, and floods...

About Civic Engagement
"Every day you can read
something about an issue to learn about it,
every week you can make a call about something or send a letter,
and every month you can show up to a
meeting or community group."
Mayor Daniella Levine Cava
Miami, Dade County, Florida, USA
Overcoming the Shared Psychosis
Gustave Le Bon described the pathology of crowds.
Carl Jung warned against the menace of “psychic epidemics.”
Sigmund Freud explained the lurking (unconscious)
perils behind “civilization”.
And as Erich Fromm famously noted:
“That millions of people share the same forms of mental pathology
does not make these people sane.”
Anyone can give into shared psychosis,
given enough exposure and pressure.
How do we guard against this?
